Third is coming in First...

So, a third world country is edging up, head to head, with a first world country:
The United States is losing to Brazil.

I don't know exactly what it is that places countries in first, second or third world "places", but be as it may it exists.

In a first world country, citizens seem to have the right to destroy the environment though, contrary to a third world country like Brazil, that may even be seen as an undemocratic society, but lets be honest, The States is only democratic to those blind optimists.

Getting to the point, I just found out that in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, it is LAW that when doing shopping in mini-marts, supermarkets, etc. the shopper must bring their own recyclable bag/box to use, or they have to pay about 20 cents to get a bag.

How can this become a law that citizens need to abide by? And why can't America do this? And please do not tell me because the people are overly free and democratic. Its because the people are overly lazy to bring bags from home. And don't you even try to charge them for bags. You might get shot.

So, why not be cheap and save the environment?

Our Economy, Plainly: Maybe some conservatism action would be nice, Obama.

Maybe Obama should pull a Jimmy Carter, for the sake of America and it's people.

Maybe Obama should sell the White House Yacht for $267,000 and shout down the air conditioning systems in the White House, like Jimmy did.
Piss off some fellow government co-workers while he's at it, like Jimmy did.
Charge $1,75 from branch workers to attend important dinners, breakfasts. and luncheons, like Jimmy did.

Maybe a little conservatism is what we need to bring our economy back up. Maybe a little Jimmy Carter, too.

The media needs to stop portraying elections as the "peoples will" when even this process, which is named democratic, it is not peoples will nor democratic.

"But i vote every year," You Say.

You vote to waste time and tax payers money, because the President that wins only wins because that 1% that is in control wants that President to win. Do you digg it?

The media needs to stop portraying elections as the "peoples voice" because when the people do speak, they change the peoples voice to their own liking.
